This was the catalyst in my first “round” of spiritual healing. This beginner level, easy read, action driven book will lead you through the steps of becoming in contact with your body’s energy centers. You will learn basic ways to connect to your chakras with references to crystal healing, diet and food, habit adjustments, essential oils, meditation and yoga ! It is a great read for anyone just beginning their spiritual journey, or a fantastic resource for those who need a refresher on the basics.
‘Chakras and their Archetypes- Uniting Energy Awareness and Spiritual Growth’ by Ambika Wauters
Used as reference in “Chakra Healing- A Beginner’s Guide to Self-Healing..” mentioned previously, this book is a deeper dive into the habits and archetypes which we carry though life, and their relation to our energy enters. This fantastic book leads you through trauma and learned behavior blockages, and presents exercises and insight to assist with the opening of these blockages. A lovely step in the right direction for those of us who are ready to heal deeper wounds .
‘Tara- The Liberating Power of the Female Buddha’ by Rachael Wooten
If you are ready to connect with the divine feminine within you through compassion and trauma healing, this is the book for you! Tara, the compassionate mother of Buddha and divine feminine of many forms, encourages you to find healing through the way of love and compassionate action. Written by Rachael Wooten, PHD, we read of her many clients and how they opened their trauma blockages through the way of love. We learn about the different forms of Tara and their individual purposes, as well as a way of life in the lens of an open heart. This is a book I truly wish everyone on earth gets to read!
‘When Things Fall Apart- Heart Advice for Difficult Times’ by Pema Chodron
This book of magic has pushed me to find light in the darkest places. Written by American Tibetan Buddhist and ordained nun Pema Chodron, we learn of the Buddhist outlook on the path of life and healing, more specifically after traumatic events or difficult during periods. This book surprised me, excited me, and made me tear up every step of the way! highly recommended for those of us with a deep pain who wish to remove our preconceived negative beliefs / blockages.
